What Is Your Cancelation Policy?
The All-Star Ohio House has a 30-day cancellation policy. Guests who wish to cancel or modify a reservation must do so 30 days or more before the scheduled arrival date. When a reservation is canceled for 30 days or more, a $100.00 cancellation fee will apply.
Guests who cancel within the 30-day window forfeit the required 50% deposit at the time of booking. Reservations must be paid in full 15 days before the date of check-in. We do not make exceptions to this policy. All cancellations and changes must be submitted and received in writing.
What Are Your Deposit & Payment Polices?
The All Star Ohio House charges a 50% deposit at the time of booking, with the balance due 15 days before check-in. Tax is additional. A 3% service fee is charged on all credit card transactions. We accept Mastercard, VISA & Discover.
How Far In Advance Should I Make Reservations?
The All Star Ohio House is a unique home rental in that it is the only rental home located just off the main strip of Delaware Ave. As the largest and most popular rental home on the island, it is always the first to book. We suggest reserving as early as possible. It is not uncommon for guests to book a year in advance for this property.
Can I Have More Than 22 People Stay?
NO! We strictly enforce the occupancy rates that the State Of Ohio Fire Marshal sets, and for your safety, we do not permit extra guests under any circumstances.
What Time Is Check In And Check Out?
Check-in is at 4 PM. If the rental home is ready early, we will check you in early. Check Out is at 11 AM. We are not able to offer late checkouts.
Should I Bring My Car To The Island?
We recommend you do NOT bring a car to the Island. Aside from the expense of transporting your vehicle, parking is very limited on the Island. Waiting to get a car on or off the Island can run as long as four hours.

What Is The Weather Like At Put-in-Bay?
The weather at Put-in-Bay is much like all of northern Ohio coastal communities. A light jacket or sweatshirt is recommended for the evenings in spring and fall. The island dress is casual. Just remember, it NEVER rains inside our great restaurants and bars!
Can I Walk From Bar To Bar With A Drink At Put-in-Bay?
NO! As anywhere in Ohio, we have an open container law. No alcoholic beverages may leave a liquor permit establishment. This is strictly enforced and failure to comply can result in an expensive ticket.
Can We Smoke In The House?
NO! Smoking of any substance is not permitted inside the rental home. There are front and rear decks where you may smoke. Please do not leave cigarette buts on the grounds.
Is There Wi-Fi In The Rental Home?
In-room Wi-Fi is available at FREE of charge.
When Is The Best Time To Visit Put-in-Bay
The Best time to visit Put-in-Bay is from Early April until the last weekend in October. There are special events, festivals, and fun things to do almost every day. The island season ends in the winter months.

Our rental home rates are not fixed. It fluctuates based on demand & availability. Making A Reservation early generally results in the lowest rate.

How Do I Get To Put-in-Bay?
We have one ferryboat operator that services the Island with a high-speed passenger ferry. The Jet Express services the island for passengers and lands/docks right in the heart of downtown. The All Star Ohio House is just three blocks from the terminal. The Miller Ferry also services the island and arrives on the other side of South Bass Island.
How Do I Rent A Golf Carts For My Stay?
Put-in-Bay Golf Cart Rentals is the suggested rental agency conveniently located less than a block away. Reservations are strongly recommended as they frequently sell out. Parking is provided at your rental home for your golf carts.
Do I Need A Drivers License To Rent A Golf Cart?
Yes! Golf Cart Rentals are treated as permitted motor cars on the Island. All traffic regulations apply, including open container laws, as well as drinking and driving. Put-in-Bay Golf Cart Rental rents to permitted motorists over the age of 18. For those under 18 but maintaining a valid license, a guardian or parent may rent a golf cart for your enjoyment.
When Is Put-in-Bay Open?
The Put-in-Bay season starts April 1st and our last big weekend is the Halloween Bash at the Bay weekend the last weekend in October. Off-season activities include walleye and perch ice fishing.
Is There A Grocery & Place To Buy Beer & Wine?
Yes! There is a full-service grocery on the Island located on Catawba Avenue. There is a beverage center with beer and wine located next to the Grocery. There is no place to purchase hard liquor on the island and you may bring your own.
Can Someone Else Check In?
No, only the person whose name and valid ID stated in the booking confirmation will be allowed to check-in.
Is There A Minimum Stay Required?
One (1) night midweek, Two (2) nights on weekends, and Three (3) nights on holidays.
How MuchWhat Does It Cost To Visit Put-in-Bay
There is no fee to visit Put-in-Bay! While various attractions may have a fee the island is open to the public and all you have to do is get here! There are many free things to do at Put-in-Bay!
What Are The Most Popular Events At Put-in-Bay
There really are no events that fail to attract a large crowd. Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day weekends are popular for 3 day stays. Priatefest, the annual Put-in-Bay Spring Fling & Fal Ball held at the Put-in-Bay Resort is also very popular.
Check-In & Check-Out
Check In Time is 4:oo PM. There are occasions where the All Star Ohio House may be available for an early check in. If the retnal home is ready early we will make every effort to facillitate an early check In. Pleae make your request known upon arrival.
Check Out Time is 11:00 AM. Due to the size of the rental home and extensive cleaning we provide between guests we are not able to offer late check outs.
